Point University Launches $13 Million Capital Campaign Aimed at Increasing Student Scholarships, Supporting Operations
WEST POINT, Ga., Nov. 15, 2018 — Today Point University launched a $13 million capital campaign aimed at providing funds for immediate student benefit and support for operations. The campaign will focus on providing more academic scholarships and supporting operational needs.
“We were founded to provide students a living and learning environment where they can make an impact for God’s Kingdom, no matter their chosen career path,” Point University President Dean Collins said. “Through the generosity and determination of those who share our mission, this campaign will enable us to write the next chapter for this university and continue to educate the next generation of cultural leaders motivated to live out their faith in the marketplace and all of life.”
Point University has already made significant progress toward its goal and is announcing a multimillion-dollar legacy gift to the campaign. The gift comes from a local donor who wishes to remain anonymous.
“This gift creates an inspirational start to our capital campaign,” said Collins. “It will propel us toward our goal that will enable us to continue to provide a quality education that equips our graduates to influence culture for Christ.”
The capital campaign and this gift were facilitated through ITC FinTec, which is also headquartered in West Point. To join the campaign to support Point University, visit http://www.itcfintec.com/Inspiration/586044761
